Initial phone interview with hiring manager, tech review with Sr. Systems Engineer, phone interview with sales rep and sales management. Presentation to the sales team.

About 6-7 rounds of interviews from various technical & business heads across different regions. Questions very focussed in terms of identifying whether the person can jell well with the organization culture as well as isolating the right skills.

Not very unexpected. But high emphasis on identifying ethics on how the SE can firmly hold his ground in face of unexpected / unreasonable expectations from sales. While sales pressure is always there to meet targets, this is expected to be done without compromising on the high degree of trust & faith that customers may have.

Very thorough covering technical acumen, business experience, what if scenarios, and job/culture expectations. Well planned process, quick timeline, transparent and considerate.
