I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Ripple (New York, NY) in Nov 2018
Interview
Much of the process was done by video chat, as I was interviewing with people in multiple locations. Every interviewer was friendly, collegial, and let me show my skills and experience through conversation instead of by asking artificial test-like questions. Multiple rounds, and a short final one in the office.

Question 1
When you're hiring a new developer, how do you like to evaluate their technical proficiency?
Complex and multiple meetings which were often rescheduled at last minute. Meeting with multiple stakeholders and then a presentation/pitch required. They wanted pitch and presentation developed and presented before you had an opportunity to meet the hiring leader and key stakeholders. While I have no problems doing a pitch, I don’t think it’s reasonable to ask candidates to prep a 30-45 presentation before you’ve met the key stakeholders who would work with.
Had 1 phone screen then virtual onsite with 6 interviews
2 design and rest was project and team management
The design question was mostly talking through a project I worked on and focus on technical aspect
