Paycom takes its time when interviewing candidates that they may hire. They are a selective company and should be. The people on their team are very friendly and work very hard as well. These people SELL. The interview process consisted of an initial phone screen, a face to interview, canvass calling sessions, a teleconference, and a cold-calling session as well.

Question 1
The most difficult piece of the interview was when I was asked to do cold-calling in person without knowing that would be part of the interview. I enjoyed it and appreciate the experience.
Though difficult, Paycom’s interview process was great! Every interview was well organized and thanks to my recruiter, I was always prepared for the next step.
You begin by speaking with a recruiter a few times before being moved to the next step in the process; webcam interview with your area manager. After being approved to move forward from this interview, you are interviewed via webcam with a regional sales manager. If the decision to move you forward in the process is made, you are sent to interview in-person where you begin the morning by meeting the team. I received great support and advice from the office, which helped my confidence in the final step. You are given an opportunity to set up a minimum of three appointments by cold calling.
I was then offered the position! Overall amazing experience and I felt supported in a collaboratively competitive environment. Very excited for this opportunity!

Interview
I applied online and then had a phone interview. That went well and I then was scheduled to meet with a Hiring Manager of the local Paycom Office. I get there prepared and practiced multiple times but he ends up not showing up which frustrated me greatly. He then asks me standard questions but then questions my passion for sales.
