I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Paycom (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2018
Interview
FIRST AND FOREMOST, this is an Outside SALES position. They say theres no cold calling, but you are cold calling current customers to sell them different services. That was the first red flag. Incredibly disorganized interview process. I received a screening call from one of their recruiters who briefly explained a little about the role. She asked me maybe 2 questions about my backround and work history. After that, she set me up with another phone interview with a different recruiter, who asked me 3 questions; 1. What did I know about the role 2. Tell me about your work history, and 3. Do you have any questions for me. I was shocked that she was as unprepared as she was for this. She then sends me a personality test, and a very long, frustratingly redundant application to fill out on their website, which every single question would have been answered if they just looked at my resume. Before I could finish it, I received an automated email saying I was rejected. Don't waste your time.
