Interview rounds were relatively medium - hard.
The most frustrating part was they will put you into multiple rounds just for someone to reject you at the end.
No matter how good you do in the technical and behavioral rounds, there is a big boss waiting for you at the end just to reject you.
If you get an interview just use it as a practice to crack better companies.
I applied online. I interviewed at Paxos in May 2026
Interview
Six rounds of interviews. A two-hour take-home assessment. Detailed, positive verbal feedback from every person I spoke with. I came away from each conversation feeling like a strong fit — because that's what I was told.
What I got at the end: a form rejection email. No explanation. No response to follow-up.
I work in HR. I understand that decisions don't always go the way feedback suggests, and I have no issue with a no. What I do have an issue with is a company putting a candidate through one of the more demanding processes I've experienced — at a senior level — and then treating them like an anonymous applicant when it's over. That's a choice, and it reflects on your culture whether you intend it to or not.
The people I interviewed with were smart and the role was genuinely compelling. But candidates deserve to know: the investment is not reciprocal at the end.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
A lot of basic behavioral questions, somewhat repetitive between the rounds of interviews
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paxos in Nov 2025
Interview
The interview process was very extensive for a technical support role. I did 5 rounds of interviews over the course of a couple weeks and many of the same questions were asked on each. Everyone was very nice however and genuinely seemed happy to be working at the company. I received positive feedback from everyone during the interview itself but ultimately I was rejected with no indication as to why. If candidates are expected to invest their time this heavily into the interviews, a simple why explanation would be immensely helpful. The position is still up on their job board several months later so I'm unsure if they are actually hiring for the role or using up candidates time.
