Interview
It was very quick, and seemed to go well, and then....nothing...I finally had to reach out to the HR rep, who thought I had never been spoken to by the two people that interviewed me.

Interview
The interview process for my Presales Engineer role at Palo Alto Networks was heavily focused on both technical knowledge and customer-facing communication skills. The discussions mainly revolved around networking fundamentals, cybersecurity concepts, and current industry trends.
Since it was a presales-focused role, they wanted to see not only technical competency, but also consultative communication, presentation skills, and the ability to understand customer pain points and recommend appropriate solutions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They assessed my understanding of areas such as firewalls, network security architecture, cloud security, VPNs, routing and switching, and evolving security models like Zero Trust and SASE. In addition to the technical aspect, they also evaluated how effectively I could explain technical solutions to customers and position cybersecurity solutions from a business perspective.

Interview
