      Software Engineer Interview

      9 Nov 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Irvine, CA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Numecent (Irvine, CA) in Oct 2016

      Interview

I first met a recruiter at a university career fair. There, I did a small on-the spot interview that asked some CS basics. I passed, and they e-mailed me later for an in-person interview. At the in-person interview, I spoke to two different people. One asked me about pretty much everything on my resume, especially about the courses I listed and my project experience. After the resume questions, he asked me a couple of C++ questions. After this portion was over, I spoke to the next person, who also asked me a few more questions about my resume and project experience, and then asked a few questions that seemed to be a little bit more about hardware.
