I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at NOMIS SOLUTIONS (San Bruno, CA) in May 2018
Interview
A sheer waste of time. First, the HR called me to know more about me. Then she set me up with an interview with a Manager after a few days. Manager asked me some behavioral questions. The interview went good and she was quite impressed with my answers.
The next interview was a video call interview with a team member and he gave me a coding challenge which was a very easy one.
At last, after 3 phone call interviews they wanted me to call on-site. They booked my flight tickets and but they did not book my hotel until I left. I kept on emailing HR but she was not responsive. Finally the day I was taking off for San Franciso, she replied me that the hotel is booked which was pretty far from their office in San Bruno.
On-site interview was about 7 hours long. Each team member came in one by one talking about the company and what they do. VERY REPETITIVE. Each interview interviewed for one hour where I was told to introduce myself which went for 10-15 minutes and then they used to introduce their company for 15-20 minutes. And the remainder was nothing relevant.
The only round I liked was the 1st technical round in which the interviewer asked me all the questions related to software engineering and were pretty relevant.
After I finished the whole day session of interviews, I was told that I would get a response in a week. I waited for a week and then shot a follow-up email but NO REPLY. I waited again for a week. I shot another follow-up email but NO REPLY. I thought they were not interested so I stopped following up and all of a sudden after 4 weeks they sent me a rejection email.
I guess, they don't respect the interviewees.
