My Interview Experience: I initiated my application via LinkedIn at the beginning of July. The initial step involved a call with a recruiter, which was characterized by a relaxed and introductory tone. Following that, I completed an online assessment that was both brief and straightforward. Successfully moving forward, I engaged in a one-hour Zoom call with a Delivery Manager. This phase featured some unexpected curveball questions, designed to assess quick thinking, yet the main emphasis was on gauging personality compatibility. Progressing beyond this, I reached the final stage, an in-person interview spanning a total of two hours. The first hour encompassed a 15-minute role-play as an SDR, wherein I had the task of selling memoryBlue to a "client," who happened to be a Delivery Manager. Despite initial apprehension, the role-play unfolded smoothly. Post-role-play, I received feedback on the call, shedding light on the interaction style of Delivery Managers with their teams. The remainder of the first hour consisted of an interview session with questions similar to those encountered during the Zoom interview. The second hour took on a more relaxed demeanor, involving a comprehensive overview of base pay and bonuses. Useful Tips: Tailor your responses consistently to highlight your aptitude as a salesperson. Take advantage of moments to pose insightful questions when the spotlight is on you. While the role-play is manageable, it's wise to come prepared with a script (open notes are permitted). Recognize the valuable experience of everyone you engage with, including your recruiter, who began as an SDR. Commendable Recruiter Assistance: Throughout the process, my recruiter offered commendable support. Following each interview, I was provided with a comprehensive debrief, which proved to be of immense help. I was consistently kept informed about the progress of my application. The recruiter's guidance and availability ensured I was thoroughly equipped for each interview stage. They were always ready to address my inquiries and offer valuable guidance.
