Initial phone invite to discuss about the position responsibilities and salary expectation.
Next was a phone interview with the Customer care manager which went pretty easy. She asked about my experience and general behavioral questions to understand how I would work on an issue with a customer, my approach, etc
Next I was asked to come for an onsite interview. It had 4 stages. Stage 1 was with 2 employees who were from the customer care and just asked about my experience. Stage 2, was with 2 developer support engineers. They asked me basic unix questions and my experience. Stage 3 was with 2 frontend developers who asked questions related MVC, angularjs basics, json, etc. Stage 4 was by the supervisor and she asked just general easy behavioral questions.
The recruiter called me and told that they were happy with my skills but, since I was on H4 EAD the company was not interested. I had already mentioned about my work permit in the online application and I felt sad when I didn't get the offer. I wish the recruiter had checked this on the first place.
