I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Ipswitch
Interview
Applied through an Agency. Thought all went well during the interview process. When reached out for an update, this company GHOSTED! This is frustrating and unprofessional!
Fair warning to future candidates, don't expect a response from this company!
Let your candidate know if they are not selected so they could simply move on and not write a bad review on Glassdoor.
Hi there, we always appreciate constructive and direct feedback; however, we believe your frustration is misplaced. We did not work with any recruitment agency to fill this role. If an agency represented to you that they were working on the role they did so without our knowledge or permission. This unfortunately happens very frequently – agency recruiters will engage a candidate on a role without the employer’s knowledge. Then, they will try to “sell” this candidate to the employer, along with a 20% fee. I’m sorry to hear you had a bad experience while considering Ipswitch as a potential employer.
We pride ourselves on a positive and thorough candidate experience. In the future please feel free to be in touch with us directly if you are interested in applying for a role.
There was none. Applied with the online black hole many companies use. They asked what is now an illegal question in MA about current salary. Never heard back except for the standard auto reply bs.

Question 1
What is your current salary. It was a mandatory question per the above.
Very short, not much materialized from it. Awaiting possibility of a future interview. Company was interviewing for IT COOP interns for future projects in relation to one of their satellite offices in another state.
