Entry Level Software QA Engineer Interview

      15 Aug 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Boston, MA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at InterSystems (Boston, MA) in Feb 2018

      Interview

After first contact, I was asked to take a personality test and a skills test before any other screening. After that was done, I was given a phone screening and told that I would be brought in for an on-site interview. The first on-site interview was 3 weeks after the phone screening, and mostly consisted of the HR representative that I had been speaking to before going over the results of the quizzes I had taken, before scheduling another interview for a later date with members of their technical staff. The second on-site interview was better, but it took a month and a half after first contact before I actually spoke to anyone from their technical staff. Unfortunately I was not offered a position, but it took 2 weeks before I got any feedback, and that was only after I reached out. Overall the interview process moved at a glacial pace. Do not expect quick feedback.
