Very simple, first round video interview and then invited for in person interview.
I spent a few hours on site, meeting the team and presenting on previous work with good discussions with the hiring team. All very well organised.
Unfortunately they were very slow to give a decision post-interview and by few months later when they asked if i was still available, I had already taken another job.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IONTAS (Cambridge, England)
Interview
Two stage process. First interview is an informal chat about your research interests and your experience. This was conducted online. In the second, I was invited to Cambridge to give a 10-minute presentation about my PhD. They may ask ask questions, but again, its pretty informal. They will ask you questions related to the work they do, i.e. display technologies. They will also ask some standard interview questions, too.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at IONTAS (Manchester, England) in Jan 2023
Interview
Felt extremely comfortable. Very relevant questions geared to understanding your experience and fit for the role. They also were interested in getting to know you as a person and assess your fit within their team.
