First call with recruiter, then hiring manager, then 4 colleagues. Due to HM schedule the process took 3 months. Nothing was out of the ordinary if you're used to start up environments. The length of these processes, however, are so very frustrating for the candidates. The process itself was fine, it was their terrible communication at the end that turned me off. After 3 months, and 7 interviews, the final response I received was an email, and clearly a template for someone who was early in the process. There was nothing personalized, no phone call. Not all candidates are the right fit, and I had questions about the role an comp myself, so no hard feelings I wasn't chosen. It was simply the manner in which they chose to communicate, and how poorly that was executed that is such a turn off. Makes you wonder how sloppy other things are at the company related to employees.
