A screening call with a technical recruiter, then literally the hardest technical interview ever, but for all of the wrong reasons…
If you guys want an expert in DNS, then surely you should be hiring a network engineer?
I know that I’m good at what I do, yet I wasn’t given the chance to prove it.
The interviewer was rude, he was using his phone during the interview. He also used a completely unprofessional word to describe disabled people.
He decided that just because I couldn’t answer a couple of completely irrelevant questions, I wasn’t good enough for his team.
I think I dodged a bullet by not getting an offer in the end. I would not want to work for a business that deems it acceptable to run interviews like this.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GoDaddy in Mar 2025
Interview
Quick fire, long winded and didn’t align at all with the job specification at all. After 3 weeks of being ghosted I’d seen the job specification had changed entirely to a role that I’d never of applied for as it transpired it would be manually interacting with legacy systems
