Applied to JAPAN AI, a subsidiary of Geniee, and had a disappointing experience during the 2nd round of interviews with the VP. The interview was behavior-based, similar to Amazon's format. The interviewer appeared unimpressed throughout. At one point, I expressed that I hadn’t had the opportunity to fully showcase the strengths that matched their expectations. The VP responded curtly with, “You had bad luck this time,” which came across as dismissive and unprofessional. I could not feel the mutual respect and felt one-sided.
