I recently applied for the System Engineer role at Diyar United Company and went through a lengthy process involving two technical rounds and a face-to-face interview. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.
The face-to-face interview deviated entirely from the job description, with questions focused on database management and monitoring instead of the advertised System Engineer responsibilities. Despite assurances from HR that updates would be provided, communication was poor, and follow-ups were ignored.
I even declined two other job offers based on promises of an update, only to be left without clear feedback. Such a lack of transparency and professionalism is unacceptable, especially when candidates are making critical career decisions.
I urge the company to reevaluate its recruitment process, improve communication, and ensure interviews align with the roles advertised. Candidates deserve respect and clarity for the time and effort they invest.
