Phone call, code challenge, systems design, project deep dive, product management, and another coding challenge. Everyone was very friendly. The coding problems were relevant to the role. And the questions were good. STAR format style

I had an initial call with a recruiter and then scheduled the next step for a technical evaluation. I ended up canceling the follow-up because 1) they don't use seniority levels via title (with documentation), and 2) they don't let you negotiate your starting salary. This is so anti-competitive, it's wild. I understand the job market is hard right now but it genuinely feels like they are taking advantage of their position as an employer. There are better fish out there, guys.
