I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Craft.co
Interview
Blunt, not enthusiastic, analytical. Already could tell he didn’t want to hire me because he was not engaged. Waste of time and not nice. They laid off a bunch of the marketing team after so, glad I didn’t get that job anyway.
A recruiter call to discuss my background, resume, and motivations for applying. They asked general behavioral questions and walked through the role expectations. The tone was professional and friendly.
A more in-depth conversation with the team manager. We discussed specific experiences, technical or functional fit for the team, and challenges faced in past projects. The manager gave a good overview of the team's structure, goals, and current priorities.

Only made it to the technical assessment and was critical of things that I left out even though they were optional according to the requirements. Optional should be optional not required. My time is worth something too.
