I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Corning (Reynosa, Tamaulipas) in Aug 2021
Interview

First step was a phone screen with a recruiter (30 minutes) and then an interview with the hiring manager which lasted about an hour (though it felt fast). Very conversational; helpful overview of the current state and goals of the position; positive experience overall.

Question 1
Why are you interested in this position, and Corning?
During my interviews I have to say I was surprised how disengaged the interviewers were. They were acting like they were doing me a favor by interviewing me, they had little to no questions and did not come off as personable at all. You could tell some of the interviewers were looking at my resume for the first time, and that they were coming up with questions on the fly. Many of the questions weren't even related to the role
I was really surprised how unprepared/ inexperienced the team seemed to be at interviews. Out of all of the interviews I have been on in my life, this was without a doubt the worst one. Additionally chatting with the folks they seem to be a team that understands marketing conceptually, as they can talk your ear off about what the latest marketing trends are, but don't actually know how to implement it. Many of the things they were saying to me about marketing trends were inaccurate
Interviews are a two way street and I hope they better prepare their interviewers as I went into these interviews with an open mind and left with a horrible opinion on the people/ company. Not impressed with them at all
