By US standards, it was very unorganized. You find yourself chasing the scheduler as well as sending several follow ups to the hiring manager before getting a response. The process unnecessarily took three to four months.
Met with the recruiter to see if there was a fit after getting referred by a friend. Then I met with the hiring manager and another senior level manager.
I ended up receiving a job offer, I decided to counter-offer compensation because there is a lot of travel involved. From there I was told that the only way to move forward is to accept the original offer.
So I agreed, I was told to accept the email proposal and then fill out onboarding paperwork.
A few days past and I receive a call that they decided to pull my offer because of compensation expectations
