I was contacted by the recruiter and after the initial conversations, he scheduled a Karat (3rd party) interview. The recruiter was very upfront with the communication and it was a pleasure to work with him. Karat platform is a hit or miss. I completed the coding challenge well within time. Since we had 10 mins left, the interviewer gave me another binary tree question to work on. I wrote the pseudo code within that time. There were a set of OOP/SDLC theory questions as well. I was honestly optimistic, but I got an update later on saying that they are not moving forward since I couldn't finish the second question. The interviewer never told me I had to. I was asked to think through the second question only because I performed well on the first and we had more time left somehow. Bit disappointed with the outcome, but I'm thankful for the opportunity and the learning.

After applying, I got a call from the recruiter for initial phone screen, it went very well and she told me that I should expect an email with the next steps soon. I never recieved any email from her. I followed up couple of time, but she did not revert back. Very bad experience
