I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Compass (New York, NY) in Apr 2015
Interview
Interviewed by COO. He seemed to want to conduct the interview like he was at Mckinsey or Bain. He asked me sort of half-baked case study questions, but when it was my turn to ask questions clarifying the role he was interviewing me for (beyond the vague job description), he seemed to struggle for an answer. Nothing asked had anything to do with prior experience that was relevant, or anything else would seem typical. In other words, the interview was as unfocused as the company's business model

Interview
Applied online, then received a request to complete a one way video interview. You log in, read a question, then record a video of your answer. This process was horrible - the 60 second time limit on some pretty complex questions made it difficult to answer these effectively. The following week I had a follow up call with the recruiter about continuing the process, which was vague and not very helpful. Before I had my next round, I withdrew my application – if the company doesn't know what it wants or how to get it, I'm not sure how they're going to be successful in the end. I don't recommend applying here.
