I was contacted by the principal investigator for an interview. During the interview, he went over the role and the current study. Asking relevant questions about qualifications and experience. Also, about proficiency in specific statistical analysis and data entry programs.

No interview, for my application just needed to submit written statement. Written statement was about 3 pages long regarding why I wanted to work in research and what I could contribute to the campus.
the whole process was long/unnecessary with 2 interviews one virtual and other in person after one week with the same questions asked over & over again. Both of the interviews were with the same person only.
