The interview process was fairly average overall. There was strong urgency at the beginning to set up interviews, followed by noticeable delays later, which is understandable to some extent.
What was concerning, however, was a consistent pattern across rounds, where several senior leaders (VP level and above) spoke negatively about the outgoing leader(red flag). This came across as highly unprofessional and reflected poorly on the organization. Hearing the same sentiment repeatedly from multiple senior stakeholders felt like a significant red flag.
In the final round, I was asked to provide a detailed execution plan for a project. Expecting that level of detail during an interview process raises concerns about whether the intent was to extract free work. I chose to share only a highlevel strategy rather than a full execution plan. After that, communication dropped off, suggesting they may have been looking for candidates willing to go further in that direction.
Overall, it was an average experience.
While I can’t fully comment on the company’s culture, based on my interactions with their team leads, I would have declined the offer regardless.
