      Business Development Representative (BDR) Interview

      19 Dec 2025

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Aprimo

      Interview

Horrible process and horrible people with 0 ounce of humanity. No one knows what they are doing. They lead people on and I’m pretty sure do not communicate with each other. A big red flag is the fact that they make up processes as they go along and do not have any clearly defined structure to do their interview process. The interview process itself was not difficult, but my god by the end of it I thought I was part of some sort of fictional parody. Netflix needs to sign these cowboys up and document their shoddy processes - it would be a hit. Here’s some of my highlights: - (I came into the interview with camera on and got told to turn it off) Recruiter: You would love working for Aprimo. It’s really casual. I’ve got my camera off because I’m sat here in my Pyjamas and baseball cap. (This guy is a SENIOR recruiter) - One of the interviewers told me they take lunch breaks for as long as they want…… WHAT? (This person is a SENIOR member) - The COO came 15 minutes late to the interview and did not even apologise. He’s the type of dude that you would say something funny to and he would look at you like you offended his honour. 0 personality, 0 care and 000 on his pay check. Bro is the definition of fake it will you make it. I know some glassdoor reviews are purposefully negative and over exaggerated but I PROMISE I am under exaggerating this. I have also kept things out to maintain my anonymity. If you don’t believe me, look at how long their roles have been advertised on their careers website (they probably edit or change them after this)

We appreciate feedback on our interview process. While we don’t agree with several characterizations in this review, we hold firm standards around structure, professionalism, and mutual respect throughout the interview experience. Interviews are planned and structured in advance, and candidates are provided clear context regarding interview format, expectations, and next steps. Our interviewers — at every level — are expected to be prepared, aligned, and respectful of candidates’ time, just as we expect professionalism and respect from those participating in the process. Interviews are designed to focus on role responsibilities, thoughtful discussion, and a clear understanding of how teams operate. Interviewing is a two-way evaluation. Candidates should leave with a clear understanding of the role, the team, and how decisions are made, regardless of outcome. We will continue to enforce consistent standards and accountability across all interview experiences.
