      Localization Project Manager Interview

      6 Apr 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Cupertino, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Apple (Cupertino, CA) in Jun 2014

      Interview

Resume was submitted internally. Got called in for the interview, I thought it went fine, but they went with someone else. After several attempts to get a role, I got a feeling that they have internal candidates for pretty much any LPM position. And they advertise just for the legal reason and ultimately no matter what your skills level, its kind of hard to get in, unless you are a super star engineer. I am talking about support/localization roles. I feel discouraged to apply again, as there is no point. For Localization specific role, they prefer either graduates with Localization degrees or American project managers with perfect English and big attitudes. I would not say my experience was positive.

      16 Apr 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Istanbul
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Apple (Istanbul) in Nov 2018

      Interview

I had 10 interviews and didn't hear from them again after the last interview. Unprofessional to bring someone in for 10 interviews and just not properly inform after deciding not to go further.

      Application

      Interview

1Phone interview with HR recruiter 2 phone interviews Onsite interview with 8 people I had several interviews for Apple positions. The first interview with HR were always unreliable. They don't tell you when the hiring manager will call you. Or the hiring manager would call 1 hour earlier than expected time. Even though I love some of Apple products, I am not impressed with how Apple treated candidates.
