I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Amazon (Luxembourg) in Jul 2015
Interview
Very sterile, awkward introductions / requests for interviews ( a template in .doc form to complete availability?!) and fragmented communication across hiring teams. Recruiter did not know what hiring manager was doing / what feedback had been given and vs. versa.
After being asked to interview for another position after the one I had applied for was no longer relevant ( filled or my candidacy was lost in the confusion; I will never know bc Amazon "provides no feedback"), I chose to decline, as this was not the experience I expected from an established and professional company.

Question 1
What projects have you worked on that would suit this role? Highlight your experience.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Dublin, Dublin) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very positive experience. The down side was there were 6 rounds of interviews in total but they were scheduled close together. Communication was excellent and a huge amount of helpful resources provided to you to help you prepare.
Phone interview. Asked 4 typical question. The Amazon phone interview was structured and focused on behavioral questions using the STAR method. The interviewer was professional, asking about leadership principles, past challenges, and decision-making. It felt fast-paced yet conversational. I shared clear examples from my experience, highlighted results, and ended confident I demonstrated impact and fit.

Tell me about a time you took ownership of a project.
Describe a situation where you disagreed with a teammate or manager.
Give an example of when you delivered results under tight deadlines.
It was a long but a well designed one. There are tips online that one should go over before the interview process. It can take more than one month to complete the steps, so one should be patient while taking all the tests and other stuff.
