Interview
The interview first consists of a phone screen and then a 4 hour interview with 4 different interviewers. The questions are all behavioral (“Tell me a time when…”). Once the interview is over, the interview group + recruiter + an unbiased party called a “bar raiser” will vote if they are inclined or not inclined. It’s a very extensive interview process.

They ask you questions about Amazon's principles, focus on customer obsession and ownership. Make sure you use the STAR method since that is the way they write everything out in their notes.

I interviewed through a staffing agency and accepted a contractor position as a recruiting coordinator. After about 9 months, I interviewed for a full time position at Amazon and met with 4-5 interviewers. Each interview was about 30- 45 minutes.
