I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon in Apr 2022
Interview
The entire process was very well communicated and moved along quickly. A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn, encouraging me to apply. Immediately after, I was prompted to complete a behavioral and work assessment which took around 1.5 hours.
Next came a phone interview, which they inquired about my background and asked more behavioral questions. Maybe 10 minutes after hanging up, I received an email from my recruiter telling me I am moving on to the final loop interview.
Prior to the loop interview, they have you call in to a prep call. They broke down how the loop interview process will go, the leadership principles to focus on, and gave us the opportunity to ask all our questions.
The loop interview was 4 hours long. Each hour session was with either 1 or 2 interviewers. They asked maybe 5-6 behavioral questions each, all related to the LPs. I received a call from my recruiter the next day stating that they were going to extend an offer.

Question 1
Can you give me an example of a calculated risk you have taken where speed was critical? What was the situation, and how did you handle it?
Describe a situation where you made an important business decision without consulting your manager.
Tell me about when you took an unpopular stance in a meeting with peers and your leader, and you were the outlier.
Great management, it was a walk in drive and the HR team was able to manage everything well. Enjoyed the process.
All the best to everyone going for the interview.
fairly easy. phone then hiring manager. took a few weeks to hear back and didn’t get the job unfortunately. i will keep trying! amazon is a great company and i think i just need a bit more experience.
