Recruiter contacted me. There was one technical phone interview (2hrs~) and four on-site interviews and a final presentation (4hrs~) • I interviewed for this same position last year. Phone interview format, questions and answers were almost exactly the same, yet this time I passed to the next round, making me think external factors are more important than my answers • Phone interview schedule happened at a time that was not the one initially agreed • During on-site interview, one of my interviewers was literally falling asleep. I consider this action rude and unprofessional. I repeat, ONE OF MY INTERVIEWERS WAS FALLING ASLEEP. • This same interviewer had no knowledge of basic background information that was on my resume • I sent the recruiter my updated resume via email. However, interviewers of the on-site had an old version, one that I uploaded a year ago in the Amazon Careers platform. I consider this action put me in disadvantage. Previous resume had no mention of my current role and company, for example. • I was given two on-site interview schedule options, yet I was forced into one • It also caught my attention that the interviewer that gave the last follow-up was not the one monitoring my process, but rather the one that did a previous year My overall experience was very negative.
