Clean and simple process. Drug test was included but it is required for the job. Training was involved and lasted about a week for me to pass all the operations tasks.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Amazon (San Antonio, TX) in May 2023
Interview
I applied for a warehouse position that doesn't require any interview as long as you meet the basic qualifications. You pick your desired schedule. Now in terms of what position, you wont know what you get to do until you go to your start day. You basically get 1 full day in classroom, the second day is half day in classroom and the remainder of your shift getting training in your specific role. And then from there after you pass your training days, you're on your own.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Amazon (Dallas, TX)
Interview
None. There is no interview. You simply accept the offer presented and show up for the orientation process. You have to take assessments and drug screen and they do background check.
Applied online, there was no interview. You schedule a walk in date. That's where they will take your forms of ID and drug test you. If everything comes back good, you're hired.
