I applied online. I interviewed at Addepar (New York, NY)
Interview
I had a really positive experience during the interview process. The interviewers were genuinely friendly and engaging, and the interviews felt more like relaxed conversations than formal interrogations. This conversational approach allowed me to get an authentic sense of the company’s culture, values, and work environment. It was clear that they prioritize a collaborative and open atmosphere where team dynamics matter.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Addepar in Oct 2025
Interview
Really bad interview process. Had a recruiter screen (that I thought went well), recruiter informed me that I was going to be emailed a link for a technical test afterward and that she would be scheduling my next round shortly after. Instead I heard nothing from them for over 2 weeks, I literally had to remind them after 2 weeks that I'm still waiting to hear back and that I completed the technical assessment. Only then after a couple days did they say I was not moving forward. Made no sense to me, overall bad experience from their end.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard HR screening questions conducted by a recruiter
Had applied through a referral. Got a screening call with the recruiter.
The second round was a technical coding round.
The third round was a communication round.
The fourth round was a product simulation round. I was a bit disappointed with this one. It seemed like the interviewer did not care much. Their product is proprietary, yet she was asking me questions like "where do I click next..."
Was rejected after this round.
