I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Acronis (Germany) in Oct 2025
Interview
The process started with an initial HR interview followed by a detailed discussion with the hiring manager. After that, I was given a home assignment that required a full weekend of preparation. I submitted my presentation a week in advance.
However, during the final session, it was clear that no one had reviewed it — the first question I received was, “How many slides do you have?” Although the meeting was scheduled for one hour, the hiring manager left after around 30 minutes for another meeting, and I was asked to rush through the presentation, covering only part of it.
To make matters worse, I received a generic rejection email through Workday on the same day as the presentation. Overall, it felt as if the decision had already been made before the meeting. Very disappointing candidate experience given the time and effort invested.

Interview
The screening interview was smooth and with the steps very well described. Unfortunately the position was put on hold. The interviewer told me the process consisted of three interviews after the screening. One with a PM, the next one with a Director, and another one with a high stakes leader.

Interview
The recruitment process was highly non-transparent. Salary details were kept confidential from the very start, and only revealed after passing several rounds of interviews and investing significant time and effort — only to receive a lowball offer far below market value. This practice wastes both the candidate’s and the company’s time. Candidates deserve clarity on compensation expectations upfront.
