Accenture recruiting team is acting very professional way in assisting candidates (for my experience, was applied for an Internship) as such to locate you with the project. So, be patient with the team, and they try very hard for you too!
First round, submit your application online. Make sure your resume and cover letter have shown them that you really put in effort in tailor your education, previous working experience, your skills, your college activities and most importantly your competencies.
Second round, background screening. If you are lucky, you will get a call from the recruiting team to have a screen on your background such as your education, personalities and things you wrote in the resume. Not much to worry about this round, as long as you are well presented in a professional manner over the phone, you should be fine. By the way, Accenture is an established firm, even their recruiter are well trained. They will first introduce about themselves, introduce Accenture to you, and only then to let you talk. This is really useful for the interviewee as people easily get nervous at the first place, by listening to them, your nervousness will get kick off, where is the time to be your own in the interview.
Third round, project manager interview. If you pass the background screening, you will receive their email on the next round. They usually will provide the time, interviewer and your confirmed contact details. Make sure you know who you will be interviewing with. This is important as you might want to know about the project or etc. The same as I mentioned, the interviewer will also introduce themselves before to let you talk about yourself. So, prepare a brief and contented intro about yourself before get into the business.
Forth round, I was applying for a fresh graduate position actually, hence the first three rounds will be the end for an intern post. However, I was targeting to work in Accenture after I graduate, therefore, I was required to attend an interview with one of the Accenture partner. I was very lucky to have the easy going interviewer. Basically, they just check and make sure you are the right candidate for them. Make sure you know what is consulting and you like the job. Tip: questions are important to ask. They will get to know you better from your questions. Be prepared, and GOOD LUCK.
Hope it helps.
