      TotalSource Lead Generation Interview

      27 Sept 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ADP in Sept 2015

      Interview

The interview process was more or less straight forward in my case, I was contacted through a recruiter and had a basic phone interview. Just talked about who I was and what I was up to. Set up a interview in person a week later. Get to the office a week later and you'll realize that there are a lot of people being interviewed. I signed in and noticed about 15 other names on the list; if your resume is accurate and directly matches the job description your in good shape. If there are a few holes, or qualifications/past experience you don't meet. Well... its more of a challenge. I was suppose to meet with 3 people, I am escorted down stairs by a nice lady that kept a good conversation; put in an interview room and told to wait. Look over notes or something at this time, I would avoid using your phone. One of the people interviewing me walks in after 10 minutes; very friendly and easy to talk to. Basically told we will call you with answer; walked me out, never met with the other 2 people. Maybe half hour interview or so; this was a red flag. Look up the position your applying for and see what people say about time; if yours is short, there's a good chance you don't have what they are looking for. Granted this is nothing negative on their part, its important that you sell yourself as the employee they want. The whole "just be yourself" doesn't apply here; especially in a sales position. ADP wants you to know about them for sure, make sure you read about the company and what they do, if you don't - it will make for a tense interview. Other than that I would say it was a decent experience. Its a corporate interview process, not like an hourly job at the grocery store. Dress up, be prepared, don't play it off as easy. Sent an email saying thanks. Recruiter called back a day later and said they went with someone else. Sent my resume to another recruiter at the company and said she would call me for a different position; radio silence... Not sure if that's just how they soften the denial. All in all, good interview experience. Smile and wave, give a good handshake, prepare, good luck.
