One Medical was thrilled to host our inaugural clinical education event, REAL Primary Care, earlier this month in Chicago! From inspiring talks to hands-on practical workshops, we learned a lot - and reconnected with friends and colleagues too. Best of all, we reaffirmed our love for primary care and brought new energy and focus to our practice. At the heart of REAL Primary Care's discussions was a clear vision: the future of primary care lies at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and deeply human interactions. While AI promises to streamline administrative tasks and enhance clinical decision-making, it's the uniquely-human skills of empathy and adaptability that will continue to define exceptional patient care. This combination of technological advancement and human-centered approaches paves the way for more efficient, effective, and empathetic primary care. Save the date for REAL Primary Care 2025 – November 14 -16, 2025 in Palos Verdes, CA!

Amazon Pharmacy and One Medical are piloting a program that allows clinicians to easily request pharmacist consultations. While these types of consultations are common in inpatient settings, the practice is nearly non-existent in outpatient settings, though that's where the majority of patient care occurs. This is just one way Amazon and One Medical are partnering to improve patient outcomes and help clinicians provide amazing care.
