Mental illness affects one in four people and is the leading cause of workplace absences. The Expedia Group Brisbane office recently became the first of our global offices to train 15 teams as Mental Health First Aiders. These responders are now equipped to understand and recognize symptoms of anxiety, depression, panic attacks and more. They also learned key skills, such as how to facilitate empathetic and curious conversations to empower individuals to seek professional help.
