"Back in my sophomore year at Ben Gurion University, I came across this company that was instrumental in uncovering the identity of a wanted terrorist. It was right after this horrifying attack that made national news - that’s when I first learned about Cellebrite. By the time I wrapped up my engineering degree, I was already working as a data analyst. But something didn’t sit right with me – I think I was looking for more meaning and a bigger challenge in my work. So, I made the switch to become a full-stack developer through a conversion program and eventually got the opportunity to interview with Cellebrite. That interview was the start of an incredible journey that’s still going strong four and a half later. Today, I’m a Full-stack developer and part of a fantastic team that designs and implements features to assist law enforcement agencies worldwide. I’m privileged to be working on one of Cellebrite's flagship products, and I couldn’t be prouder. Working with cutting-edge technology that’s woven into our existing products and collaborating with global teams for a safer world is definitely rewarding. But what truly makes my job special is hearing success stories from our customers. These hit close to home and make what I do feel truly unique."
An English teacher becomes a QA expert and then a talented automation developer. Here’s the story of Tamar Zecharya from the Investigative Analytics Group: “Hi, I'm Tamar, and before you ask, my fluent English is the result of many hours spent reading and studying. I've always admired this language and even started tutoring friends and family when I was young. One day I thought, 'Why don't I do this for a living? So, I got my diploma and became an English teacher. The story of how I ended up at Cellebrite starts even earlier, back in high school, when a career guidance test indicated my skills were well-suited for software testing. So, during my teaching studies, I enrolled in an ISTQB course in my spare time. After a year as a high school teacher, I received my certificate as a software tester and concluded that high-tech was where my heart was. I created a LinkedIn profile and a resume, and lucky for me, Cellebrite took notice and made me an offer. For over two and a half years, I’ve been working on the development of Cellebrite’s AI-based solutions for global law enforcement organizations. Nowadays, aside from English, I'm also proficient in both JavaScript and Gherkin. Together with my manager, who's in Poland, and my team- a mix of Israelis, Europeans, and Americans- we take on the kind of technological challenges only market leaders tackle in order to stay at the cutting edge."
"Hi, my name is Jeffrey Png Wei Tiong, and I've been an integral member of Cellebrite for nearly 3.5 years. Before joining this esteemed organization, I served as a Senior Forensic Examiner in the Singapore Police Force and worked as a regional consultant at Control Risks. Having witnessed the instrumental role played by Cellebrite in expediting investigations, I seized the opportunity to be a part of this company. Today, I’m a Pre-Sales Expert, engaging in extensive collaboration with our R&D team in Israel and catering to customers across the APAC region. In my role, I have the privilege of presenting our cutting-edge technology to enhance the capabilities of forensic labs and educate investigators based on my own experiences. Given our technology's crucial role in their day-to-day operations, it's a thrilling endeavor. To excel in this role, I prioritize understanding our customers and their needs, combining my expertise and familiarity with Cellebrite products. This enables law enforcement organizations to effectively combat the increasing sophistication of criminals. While some may assume that the most rewarding aspect of my job lies in the technology itself or being part of a leading player in this exciting field, it is actually the incredible people within Cellebrite that truly stands out. We genuinely care for one another, irrespective of our geographic locations. To me, this is the unique magic that defines Cellebrite."
"Two years ago, I participated in a Cellebrite hackathon, where I presented a new and fresh website, which monitors and analyzes the Decoding team tasks. In just two days, I had to ramp up my knowledge quickly and decided to go with Vue.js. I developed a promising demo. Although it didn't win, it did spark my passion for web development. After five years of automation development, I pursued a new field. Together with my team leader, we decided that this is the right time for me to apply for a transition and to become a Full Stack developer – and so I did, and I happily joined our SaaS team. For two months, I learned React by completing online courses and receiving valuable guidance from senior developers. Thanks to Cellebrite, I experienced this transformative journey. Now, we’re developing a webpage catering to global police examiners. This user-friendly interface showcase displays digital evidence extracted from suspicious devices through physical connections. Dedicated to making a global impact, Cellebrite gives me the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tech and talented team members to make the world a safer place alongside my professional progress. I’m grateful for their support and can’t wait to see what else we will achieve together."
"Hi, I'm Bruno, a Trainer Developer from France, and I'm proud to be a part of the Cellebrite International team for over a year now. As a teenager, I never imagined that I would someday contribute to making the world safer - a job I approach with passion every day. From joining the police academy at 19 to becoming a cybercrime investigator, each step in my journey has prepared me for my current role. With over a decade of experience in the digital forensics field, most of it within the National Cybercrime Unit of the Judicial Police of France, I oversaw national and international cybercrime-related cases and conducted hundreds of forensic analyses on multiple digital devices. Now, as a Trainer at Cellebrite, I travel a lot, meet forensic examiners from diverse backgrounds, and educate them on digital forensic best practices, where they can find evidence to solve cases, tips and tricks, and how to maximize the full potential of our products. Being here and now, within this market-leading company, and doing something that matters is a significant achievement for me. Before embracing the digital forensic field, I had no special background but worked hard with love and passion. Today, I’m a trainer with a master's degree in digital forensics.
She adores visiting new places. and set tests that will knock you off your feet. Meet Noa, who pursued her passion by making the leap from HR coordinator to software tester: “Hi, I'm Noa Goren (Nogo’s great, too), and I’m a software tester in Cellebrite’s flagship product group. Two years back, I was working as a Human Resources and Internal Comms coordinator at a pharma company. Now I’m exploring a whole other universe in the tech world. It all started in my previous job, where I was developing HR-related mini-websites. That's when a friend introduced me to the world of QA. The more I investigated it, the more I was drawn towards making this my career path. Of course, I was a bit spooked by the idea of making such a dramatic change. But ultimately, I decided to take the plunge, heart and soul. For our law enforcement customers, it is always a race against the clock. At Cellebrite, we develop technology that speeds up investigations, enabling our clients to crack highly complex criminal cases sooner. Our QA team ensures law enforcement organizations enjoy a seamless user experience free of annoying glitches. We work closely with our R&D teams to stay updated with the latest features and innovations. Aligning with them daily allows us to write tests that ensure the technological capabilities we provide our customers work perfectly. We're not all work and no play! We also love to kick back, enjoy coffee together, or goof around with other teammates on the floor."
Today is Tu B'Av, a Jewish holiday all about celebrating love. To mark this special day, we'd love you to meet Danit, our wonderful Payroll Accountant who also happens to be married to Roy, who used to be a software tester here at Cellebrite. "About five and a half years back, we rolled out this new leasing program, which I presented to our employees. After wrapping up, a colleague and friend of mine, Sucri, came over and told me I’d made quite an impression on one of the employees. A few days go by. Nothing happens. Then Sucri decides to step in. In the middle of the day, he calls me to his office, and the next thing I know, we’re on our way to the 'Gallifrey’ meeting room. No explanations. He’s just leading the way. Once we get there, he knocks on the door, pulls this guy Roy from the middle of this QA team meeting, and says, 'Roy, meet Danit. Danit, meet Roy!'.Then he disappears. A few days after meeting, we went on our first date. Even then, we could already tell it was the real deal. A year and a half later, and there we were, standing under the wedding canopy. Today, we’re the proud parents of two beautiful kids, Romi, who’s nearly four, and Neil, who is two. We live in a gorgeous place with a farm, just like Roy had always dreamed about. He’s got a business producing and importing horse riding equipment, and I couldn’t be prouder or happier to be his wife."
Summer is in full swing, and our employees in the Americas are enjoying the season to the fullest. Boat rides through DC and sailing across the Hudson River, picnic sets that turn 4th of July into a memorable family celebration, and an evening of bowling. Although our summer adventures have only just begun, here is a peek at some great memories we formed in the last month:
"Imagine it, my final year of college; I’m typing in Be'er Sheva during COVID's peak. Then, out of the blue, the recruiter calls: 'Cellebrite's Physical Analyzer group eagerly awaits for your first day'. The excitement echoed! I'm Coral Shemesh, and it's hard to believe it's been more than two incredible years since that call. So much has happened - graduating in computer science, moving with my fiancé, getting married, and starting my full-time job at Cellebrite, where I grew as a student. Today I’m a full-stack developer here, and my daily routine involves leading new features, working on infrastructural tasks, and fixing bugs. I adore our product, and the stories of its success amplify my passion. Our PA tool generates centralized reports, provides specialized filters, and offers an intuitive interface to law enforcement organizations around the world. We are truly helping them to accelerate investigations. A year ago, right after graduating from university, I transitioned into a full-time job here, leaving behind my student days. Bridging the theory-practice gap posed a challenge, necessitating a quick adjustment to a new mindset and lifestyle. Luck was on my side. I've been part of this incredible team from day one. They embraced me, aided my learning, and we connected beyond work – we socialized, traveled, and even got to watch soccer games together. Honestly, this is the best gift I could ever get from a workplace”.
“After earning my degree from the Technion, I headed to the center of Israel to launch my career in Quality. After six incredible years in my first role, my journey led me to Cellebrite. After a year or so, I became a part of its subsidiary company until that was acquired. Minutes later, I got a surprise call from Cellebrite's HR team, offering me a unique opportunity to remain with the company and join a team working on a special analytics product for the federal market, primarily serving law enforcement organizations. For the past five years, I have been heading Quality for the renowned Pathfinder. My duties involve creating automated tests for software that streamline investigator’s search process amidst the vast sea of evidence extracted from suspects' digital devices. In simpler terms, we provide law enforcement organizations cutting-edge technology to enhance their effectiveness. Along the way, I have been honored with awards for excellence, but more importantly, I have formed numerous friendships with colleagues I interact with daily, both in the office and remotely. It brings me great joy to know my 14 years of experience have contributed to making our society safer.”
