      Hands Down the worst place I've worked

      Pros

      There are a number of smart engineers (senior and staff level). They care about the work they do, but have not been given an equal seat at the table when making decisions.

      Cons

      - Leadership has lots of vision, and little strategy for execution - Leadership continually promotes the youngest and least experienced staff into higher roles - Resistance to any sort of long term roadmap - Technical debt is all over the place from numerous product pivots, and there is no appetite for addressing it. Only new features. - No real career advancement prospects unless you are friends with the CEO

      Promising Numbers but Poorly Run

      Pros

      There's lots of talented people working at webAI and there's a good outlook on investment numbers.

      Cons

      Leadership has zero experience and business knowledge. People who are in leadership roles across the board were given leadership roles with no prior experience, many people there are new to production engineering and have no experience shipping applications. The founders especially have horrid work history, with this as basically their first jobs.

      Competitive pay, strong work/life balance, supportive and fun co-workers, opportunity to work on exciting projects aligned with a mission I'm passionate about, opportunities for advancement and career growth.

      Cons

      Requires some after-hours work, typical for a startup environment.
