      Small company full of great people but with some growing pains

      Pros

      Incredibly warm and smart founder and CEO. Nice fellow employees who are really thoughtful about product and cares about customers and employees.

      Cons

      Interesting business model that is different from competitors but it's taking too long to scale with approach. Most of employees worked together from a prior company so it's cliquey and hard for an outsider to really connect. Office space is rundown and makes day to day less enjoyable.

      Pros

      I love working at talech. I love the environment we have created and the peers that I get to work with. I love the open communication we have when it comes to new ideas and trying new solutions that work for everyone.

      Cons

      Slack is an inconsistent tool to use for help Only some positions that are available are announced to the floor. Not giving us the opportunity to apply for positions to further ourselves in the company. New ticketing process is very confusing and takes a lot of time to make sure it is done correctly . Some calls requiring up to 4 tickets to be created with customer holding. Emails from management requesting agents to fulfill certain requests for rewards. But rewards are never received.

      5 waves of layoffs, no vision, no direction

      The people are overall great to work with.

      Cons

      Everyone in Talech is in survival mode after 5 waves of layoffs and now a complete reorganization. US bank has no vision, no one has a grasp on everything because US Bank has groups all sectioned off and those group leads do not talk. Do not apply here. There are no career opportunities for remote employees because the bank decided to renege on remote working policy to force people to have video conferences in random desks in a building. We all still work across the globe but somehow driving 2 hours a day and sitting at a desk I can’t personalize will somehow increase my productivity.
