Pros

If you are of a certain race and sex AND a water-loving (former) student of a Bay Area University that starts with an S, this place is perfect for you! You will most certainly get a salary that you frankly do not deserve, but because you match the said criteria, you will likely make more than your peers. You can be a Liberal Arts major and probably make more than the average person. BONUS: If you KNOW anyone in the mentioned group, you're a shoo-in. If you are not all of the above: see the Cons section.

Is there a max character limit in this section? 1.) Security. As mentioned in the "Pros" section of the review, you really won't make it far if the CEO doesn't already know you. Even then, you are not safe. I've seen NUMEROUS folks that have worked with Rhonda in the past get axed simply because they "didn't meet her expectation". The problem is, what IS her expectation? You don't know until the door has hit you on the way out. Even then they'll most likely give you some canned response as to why you're getting let go. "Budget cuts." "COVID." "You didn't rank high enough." "You didn't grow enough." 2.) That leads to the next point. Trust. There is ZERO transparency as to what your job function is. What, you were hired as a Project Manager? WRONG, you are now on the Onboarding Team! Remember that job description you applied for or maybe never saw? Yeah, you'll probably never see it again. But then you are expected to perform all of those tasks plus whatever they throw at you? Sure. 3.) You will be bounced around more than a hot potato. Whether it be your job title or your direct manager. Don't get too comfortable, things WILL change and you will have absolutely no say in it. 4.) FAVORITISM. Ahh, the teacher's pets of the company. They're not hard to find. Check out all the positive reviews, and you'll find them. HINT: Check the "Pros" section. It's honestly so blatant that it's like the running joke in the company. Leave it to "the chosen ones" to get a new office for themselves! Also, leave it to them to write all the positive 5-star reviews. 5.) Direction? There's not much, but I'll give you direction, it's to another company! How do you expect a company's vision and strategy to go anywhere when it's being managed my recent grads? I mean, the ink hasn't even dried off their diploma, yet their writing roadmaps and launching projects? Don't get me wrong, they're a great bunch, but experience goes a long way, and it shows. 6.) One strike and you're out. There's another review out there that mentions the same point. If you make one mistake, big or small, you will surely have a target on your back. That bullseye isn't going anywhere until they've successfully pushed you out or if they decide to leave on your own. For more, read the August 7th, 2020 review. It's spot on. 7.) The Executive Staff. I frankly feel bad for them. Some of the nicest and worthwhile people I've ever worked with. They take a beating from their boss day in and day out. When trying to voice their concern, the majority of the time, the conversation is fruitless. They can be supportive when they actually have time to talk to their employees. Unfortunately, with the amount of work they get tasked with, they simply do not have time to invest in their teams. However, do not be deceived as they serve as the eyes and ears to their boss. 8.) The CEO. A bunch of smoke and mirrors. You may never speak to her but know, she's always watching and judging. She's forming opinions about you the minute you step in the doorway. It's like walking on eggshells. One wrong move and you're done for. She runs the business like a directorship. What she says goes. Even if it's wrong. Very, very, wrong. She will blame you or one of the Executive Staff members for the mistake or the fallout. One this is for certain, it will never be her fault. No, I am not a "bitter ex-employee" like the positive review from September 26, 2018 said who clearly is from the "chosen group from the Pros section". I've been here long enough to know this isn't how a normal company runs and I would NEVER refer anyone here.

Toxic Work Environment

Let's paint a picture. At the end of January 2017 the new management decided to do something drastic, they systematically laid off about a third of the workforce (roughly 50 employees or so) on the same day. There was no warning, 6 to 8 security guards hired from a 3rd party security vendor were at the Dublin HQ to assist in the mass firings. One-by-one, employee's were being called into their new managers offices to be told they were being laid off. Security guards would be waiting outside the managers office to escort those employee's back to their desks to clean out their stuff and then they were instructed to leave. While this was happening there was no communication to the staff, employee's were sitting at their desks all day in fear, waiting for the call to come. One-by-one, throughout the entire day the employee's were getting fired with no explanation from management. You can imagine how traumatizing this was for the remaining employee's. This one single event was handled so poorly that it left a stain on the organization to this day. After that event the new management began to replace those employee's (many of whom possessed key industry & application-specific knowledge that could not be replaced) with their friends from other companies. One could argue that many of these people did not possess the appropriate skills that were required for the positions they were hired for. As a result of this, there was a perceived bias against management & HR to favor certain people over others. This is very clearly a "Yes-man" organization. Where anybody who offers an opinion that differs from the management's is automatically let go. You either fall in line or you will get fired.

Pros

There used to be a very dedicated group of people that made working there fun. I would be very surprised if ITN is still in business 18 months from now.

Cons

People are scared to death of Rhonda, to the point that production systems have been compromised because VP level employees are afraid to push back. Absolutely no understanding of the business or customers' needs but making sweeping changes without taking the time to understand the impact.
