Pros
Despite working for an event tech company during a time when there are no live events happening around the world, our team has still forged ahead and continues to grow. Our belief in what we're building has far outweighed the setbacks we've experienced as an industry; as a company and a team, we've been made better and stronger because of it. I can honestly say that I never imagined I would feel so at home in a new job from day 1 (having relocated from the US to Germany during a global pandemic makes this that so much more unbelievable, but i swear it's true). Perhaps most importantly of all, our team consists of people from all over the world (11 counties and counting) and our diversity has proven that our differences truly are one of our best assets.
We are constantly attempting new things and pushing boundaries, not only with our product but with our culture and ways of working (4 day work weeks and personal development time built in). We work hard, but we play hard too and I'm looking forward to seeing what my team can do.
Cons
Our office environment can get a little rowdy - it is a startup after all (but if you need peace and quiet, working from home is always an option!).
