      A Toxic Work Culture

      Company has a good product idea.

      Cons

      If you regard a good company culture as top priority; if you consider having an empathetic and respectful manager as a key factor to your growth; if you desire to join an environment where values like respect, openness, empathy, and humility are held in high esteem; and if you desire a place where you can feel cared for, and where your opinions matter; I would not recommend this company. Please do your best to protect your mental health.

      Worst work experience I've had in 10 years as a developer

      There's very smart and good people working there

      Cons

      Casual racism from the founders Under the market compensation You have to constantly ask for AWS permissions to do your work and if you don't get them on time it's somehow your fault The benefits they tell you about are behind a lot of conditions so you aren't going to enjoy most of them You "can" work from home but if you do it before your probation you risk being fired People with way less experience than you as your bosses Salary increases are ridiculous

      Great group of colleagues, but a lack of flexibility

      Pros

      The international group of colleagues who specialise in different areas makes for a great and interesting working atmosphere and small teams mean there are few bottlenecks and lots of opportunities to grow. Everyone knows and supports each other.

      Cons

      You get the feeling that you’re not trusted to work remotely. The lack of flexibility with WFH vs office days and the company rules on how to work remotely actually gets in the way of your productivity and work–life balance on a very regular basis.
