Pros

ZP offers strong salaries with fair and frequent opportunities for raises. There is never an expectation for crazy hours. Most support staff work no more than 40 hours in a week, which is a lot less than similar positions elsewhere. The staff is small, but very friendly and is happy to help new people adjust quickly.

Cons

ZP is a small firm, so if you are accustomed to large corporations/firms, then you will need to adjust, but the small size has its benefits.

Pros

I worked with intelligent, friendly people. I love this firm and my experience here. Friendly environment and people who are easy to get along with. Everyone is helpful and willing to help you understand your job. The training is hands-on and there is a plan for each employee to be successful.

Cons

Although it not a con for me, some may not be able to work in a quiet, yet focused, environment. It worked out for me!

Pros

- Hardworking and kind co-workers - Fantastic office manager that really looks out for the paralegals - Usually it is one paralegal to one lawyer, which makes atty preferences easier to manage. They try to keep things similar, but each atty does have their opinion about what works best. - Summer hours: you get a half day on some Fridays during the summer (you do have to make up the hours) - Really extensive training (with trainers who are amazing at their jobs) - Possibility for a quarterly raise the first three years - Smart lawyers who really want to help you understand why/how things work in Imm. Law - Encouraging learning environment

Cons

- If you are working for various attys, things can get a bit confusing re: style preferences - Not much room to grow once you know all there is to know about immigration law
