Pros
When the clock hits the end of shift your work life can be left at work. We have to Zip Taps in the kitchen which is handy. 1 less hour to work on a Friday
Cons
The pay is terrible. Computers are terrible. Phone system and software is terrible. The processes change every 2 minutes and no one is updated until it's 'too late'. They want 150% from you while paying a very low basic wage. 30-minute lunch break which is really not enough time away from the computer (no morning break, which is difficult for smokers). 40 minutes of "DND" times which 30 of is your lunch and 10 minutes remaining is apparently enough for toilet breaks and drink break throughout the ENTIRE day. If this time is exceeded too often, no bonus or pay rise is given. So make sure you have a good bladder if you want to work here. Getting holiday approved in near impossible so you can say goodbye to a doctors appointment or a holiday with loved ones or very important family events because they will more than likely be declined as only 4 staff total (out of about 50) can be off on each day.. you do the Math... Management makes terrible employment choices and hires people who make constant mistakes but keep them for the probation period to get as much use from them as possible before they get rid instantly. Get another massive lot of new starters so don't make friends with anyone because they will be gone in a flash, the cycle is endless. Avoid having an opinion or a negative attitude towards ANYTHING or you will be made to look like a fool in front of all your colleagues, you must be quiet and someone who will answer 'how high' to the command of 'jump!'.
