The culture on the post-sales side is incredibly toxic, starting from the C-suite on down. Multiple Gong call recordings have reportedly been deleted because the CEO, May, and CCO, Mina, were recorded berating team members for "incompetence."
The product is consistently falling behind competitors in both quality and value. While competitive pressure is inherent in the GenAI space, our product lacks meaningful differentiation — it tests worse than alternatives and is more expensive than the competitors you'll regularly encounter in deals.
We're expected to move at "Writer speed" but given little support to do so. Compounding this, customers are spread across multiple disparate pricing models, meaning every interaction requires significant context switching just to understand what a given customer even has access to.
Expect to be micromanaged. The CEO regularly drops into Slack channels to second-guess decisions without any account context. We've also been reduced to reporting on vanity metrics like meetings held and emails sent, as if volume is a substitute for actual productivity.
Unless you're in a desperate situation, I'd look elsewhere — and even then, I'd think twice.
