Pros

Met a couple good friends.

Cons

I am a former employee writing this post in hopes of helping someone avoid wasting their time with this company like I had. I truly regret spending as much time working for OfficeLinks as I did. OfficeLinks is now working under the name ' Work Better' LOL NOTHING could be further than the truth of what is offered to their clients. During my several years at OfficeLinks its hard to think of a single month that anything was consistently working properly, be it office equipment, internet, petty cash reimbursement, etc. which is hardly a way to run any sort of office let alone one in which you claim to help people "Thrive". After a while it was just plan embarrassing. COO Harsh Mehta loves to humble brag about his entrepreneurial spirit and blah blah blah ( we all stopped listening after a while) but really all he is, is a guy with a rich uncle. The money to start his company was given to him not earned, you sir cannot call yourself an entrepreneur. I'll give him a little credit that he has some cool ideas however they've already all been done so there's no authenticity and he cannot execute these ideas to save his life. Officelinks or I'm sorry WorkBetter has ZERO regard for their employees, has an insanely high turn over rate, and is the cattiest environment I've ever witnessed ( even involving high upper management such a COO). It was hard to take that job seriously when the majority of management acted like children. ( except Paul Carter, he was awesome!!!) Any positive review you see here is from current employees who have been "asked" by Harsh to write something positive to drown out the negative. That happened while I was there and they were trying to do some major damage control. All in all to anyone reading this run while you can!!! This company will suck the life our of you and ruin your resume.

We feel terrible for your soul wrenching experience working for us. Though, choosing to do so for "several years" despite your clear state of disenchantment implies quite a bit of complacence on your part. No? In any event, were you terminated for performance reasons or did you opt to leave by accepting a more than generous severance package?

Pros

Health insurance is included part of your employment.

Cons

Horrible communication between leaders and staff. Expect your job description and role to change every two seconds. Everyone is unhappy. No compensation for sales and bonuses. Even though you are told on paper you are given possible bonuses. Don't expect it because there will be a reason for why you did not achieve and receive your bonus. Leaders openly speak about employees being terminated or ask mutual colleagues about their opinions. This will be used against each other. No one should feel threatened for their jobs. There is no real HR and this is managed by bias-passively aggressive individuals. Company tries have the facade of a innovative startup mentality. Far from the 'it place' you would want to work at. Most of the time this company charges clients obnoxiously and cheats the clients by locking them into contracts. This company weighs it's options to either evict a client by how much they pay and if the client is up-to-par to the co-founders liking. Company has a clause in clients contracts with repercussions to not hire OfficeLinks personal. Be aware this won't be in your personal contract when you start working for the company. Stay far away.

Thank you for your feedback and your 3+ years of work with us. OfficeLinks has always enjoyed high tenure from our team and we actively look to promote our senior team from within. In addition, we have several incentives in place to reward team members that go above and beyond and we would love to talk to you about this more if you'd like to learn about these opportunities. Last but not least, we are always looking for ways to improve our practices and any suggestions you have are more than welcome.
