Decent pay compared to the Costa Rican market and that is about it.
Cons
Unregulated business. Heavy micromanagement. Long and heavy hours. Hostile competitive coworkers. Irresponsible and lazy management. Many sudden individual layoffs due to "restructuring". No WFH or hybrid work. On site. No raises or promotions. No private health insurance and poor benefits. Hardly any budget for employee development.
