The best company I've worked for
Pros
- The friendly, comradely is second to none. I actually enjoy coming to work and it's because of the people. - I'm also a big fan of how WhereScape pays your entry fees for any sporting events you want to participate in. It encourages you to get out there and do some exercise but it also gets us all doing events together. I probably attend three or four events each year, full weekends away, with colleagues from WhereScape. It's great fun. - Management listen to what you have to say. They don't always agree and they expect you to tow the line once they've made a decision but you will get to put your opinion forward. If they see sense in it they will change their minds which is quite empowering as it makes you feel like your opinion matters and that you're part of something.
Cons
- It's a small organisation spread over three main geographies so some of the economies of scale you enjoy in larger companies aren't there. Having said that, you do get all of the autonomy and freedom you get from being a smaller company.
